The owner of a mid-western head-shop, Ted, has been locked up on drug charges, so the misguided and directionless staff is forced to take the reigns of the operation. Tom graduated from college over a year ago, caught in the post college fear of actually starting his life, he kills time at this dead end college job. Frank dreams of being a successful, misunderstood artist, but his uncompromising artist ethics prevent him from marketing himself. This toxic combination creates a self-loathing, shoplifter hating, cynic that remains unaware of his own flaws. Gary wants to be good at his job. He wants to take his business skills to the next level. As the manager of this tanking head-shop, Gary was put in charge when Ted went to prison, and he is now faced with a a drug culture that's big, scary and confusing to him.
